- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
- Incorporate Oats and Raisins: Stir in the rolled oats and raisins if using.
- Drop Dough on Sheet: Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared sheets.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Centers should remain soft.
- Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
