- 4 large russet potatoes, washed and cut into cubes
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for serving)
- Chopped chives or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a large baking dish and spread the cubed potatoes in a single layer.
- Bake Potatoes: Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are almost tender.
- Lower Heat and Add Ingredients: Lower the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Add the shredded chicken and crumbled bacon to the potatoes. Drizzle with ranch dressing and mix well.
- Add Cheese and Bake: Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top and return the dish to the oven. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the potatoes are fully tender.
- Serve with Garnishes: Serve the bake hot, topped with sour cream if desired, and garnished with chopped chives or green onions.
