- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ½ cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (divided)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 5 cups frozen tater tots
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning, black pepper, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Transfer to Dish: Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer with Bacon: Sprinkle half of the crumbled bacon over the top.
- Arrange the Tater Tots: Evenly layer the frozen tater tots over the mixture.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- Add More Cheese: Remove the dish, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Top with the remaining bacon and green onions before serving hot.
